CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — Hameed Ali and Joy Williamson scored 15 points apiece and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi won for just the third time this season, beating McNeese State 61-58 Saturday night.

Zane Knowles had 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds for the Islanders (3-18, 2-9 Southland), who had lost six in a row since a win at Lamar on Jan. 12. Their only other win came in the season opener against Texas Lutheran.
