Letter: Proposed bills forcing ‘choice’

The Columbian
Published: February 10, 2013, 4:00pm

Through proposed Washington state legislation — House Bill 1044 and Senate Bill 5009 — the for-profit abortion industry would force health insurance plans that cover maternity care to pay for abortion. This big business demands complicity of others in its deeds. People who support abortion have already been born. Where’s the choice for people who may want to cover the birth of a baby but not the death of a baby?
