CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks say top goalie Corey Crawford is day to day with an upper-body injury.

Veteran Ray Emery was slated to make his fourth start of the season Friday night against the San Jose Sharks, and Henrik Karlsson was set to back him after he was promoted from Rockford in the American Hockey League.

Crawford had 31 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss to Anaheim on Tuesday. He is 7-0-3 on the season with a 1.65 goals-against average.

Karlsson has appeared in 26 career NHL games, all with Calgary over the past two seasons. He has a 2.79 goals-against average.
