LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) — Daniel Stewart notched his fifth double-double of the season as Rider swept its season series with Marist, winning 67-63 Sunday.

Stewart had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Broncs (15-13, 10-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who are 10-1 in their past 11 against Marist (7-20, 4-12) and have won four of their last five overall.

Rider pulled away late in a 64-58 win over Marist on Feb. 3, and won in similar fashion Sunday. Marist led 33-30 at halftime and 59-58 with 3:49 left following T.J. Curry’s 3-pointer.

Stewart put Rider ahead seconds later with a layup, then Jonathan Thompson added a layup and Zedric Sadler a 3 to put the Broncs up 65-59.

Thompson and Anthony Myles each had 13 points for Rider, which shot 52.9 percent (27 of 51) and hit 8 of 16 3-point attempts.

Chavaughn Lewis led Marist with 18 points.
