The Pain Society of Oregon and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center are hosting its fourth annual Spine Symposium in March.

The symposium, “Bridging the Future of Spine Care,” is March 8-9 at the Heathman Lodge, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive. Continuing education units are included in registration cost.

The conference also includes an optional dinner March 8 with Rep. Jim Moeller, D-Vancouver. Moeller will discuss the Washington state law that created prescribing rules for pain medications; the rules went into effect one year ago.

The conference is aimed at health care providers involved in spine pain management, including physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, psychologists, massage therapists, social workers and acupuncturists.

For more information or to register, visit the Pain Society website, www.painsociety.com/conference/spine.
