LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — This week’s Iowa-Nebraska men’s basketball game has been moved to Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lincoln because of the winter storm expected to hit the Midwest.

The game originally was scheduled for Thursday night in Lincoln.

The Nebraska and Iowa athletic departments, along with the Big Ten Conference, announced the change Tuesday for the safety of the teams, fans and game-day personnel. Saturday was available because the game is the only one on the schedule this week for both teams.

Fans with tickets for Thursday can use them Saturday.

The game was originally scheduled to be on ESPN2. Television information for Saturday’s rescheduled game will be announced later.
