GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Aaron Anderson drained a 3-pointer with 8 seconds left to lift North Dakota to a 64-62 victory at Northern Colorado on Wednesday night.

The long-range basket put the Green and White (12-14, 9-8 Big Sky) ahead 63-62. Shane Benton then stole the ball from UNC’s Tate Unruh, was fouled and made a free throw with a second left to complete the scoring and cap a comeback from an 11-point second-half deficit.

Anderson scored 21 points and Troy Huff had 19 for North Dakota. Connor Osborne led the Bears (9-16, 7-10) with 19 points, and Derrick Barden had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

UND radio announcer Paul Ralston served the first game of a two-game suspension. Ralston was suspended after referring to UND’s foul-shooting woes in an overtime loss to Northern Arizona on Saturday as a “choke job” in a postgame interview with coach Brian Jones.
