ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Travis Bader scored 27 points and Corey Petros had a key block of a potential game-tying layup in the final seconds of overtime as Oakland held on to beat Morehead State 82-79 in a BracketBusters game on Saturday.

Ryan Bass added 18 points and Drew Valentine 15 for the Grizzles (16-14). Petros, who rejected Devon Atkinson’s layup attempt with four seconds remaining and Oakland leading 81-79, had six points and nine rebounds.

Chad Posthumus scored 19 points and Bruce Reed 14 for the Eagles (13-16), who suffered a double-overtime loss in their previous game against Murray State on Wednesday. Angelo Warner had 12 points and converted a three-point play with 34 seconds remaining in regulation that tied the score at 74-all and forced the extra session.

Bader shot 5 of 8 from 3-point range and made all 10 of his free-throw attempts before fouling out on Warner’s three-point play.

Oakland won for the ninth time in 11 games.
