SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Marc Trasolini scored 26 points in his final home game, and Santa Clara rolled to a 79-56 victory Thursday night over free-falling Loyola Marymount.

Trasolini was 9 of 12 from the floor. Fellow seniors Kevin Foster and Raymond Cowels scored 17 and 12, respectively, for the Broncos (21-9, 9-6 West Coast), and all five of Santa Clara’s seniors were honored before the game.

Santa Clara shot 51 percent from the floor and made nine 3-pointers. The Broncos never trailed and led by as many as 29.

Anthony Ireland had 23 points for the Lions (8-21, 1-14), who lost their 13th in a row. Alex Osborne scored a career-high 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Both teams finish the regular season Saturday: Santa Clara at Saint Mary’s, and Loyola Marymount hosting BYU. Santa Clara probably will be the No. 4 seed in the WCC tournament, while Loyola will be No. 9.
