EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. was back in the lineup for the No. 2 Wolverines against Northwestern on Thursday night after missing a game with an ankle injury.
Hardaway sat out the first game of his career Saturday when the Wolverines beat Central Michigan. Second on the team in scoring and third in rebounding, it was not clear if the junior would be ready as Michigan opened Big Ten play.
Getting him back is a big boost for the Wolverines as they look to remain unbeaten after winning their first 13 games.
