POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Aaron Anderson hit three 3-pointers and scored 19 points Thursday night, helping North Dakota to a 66-53 victory over Idaho State.

Troy Huff added 15 points and Josh Schuler had 14 for North Dakota (4-8, 1-2 Big Sky), and Jordan Allard pulled down 10 rebounds. Both teams shot just 40 percent from the field, but North Dakota dominated the boards, outrebounding Idaho State 43-22.

Tomas Sanchez scored 15 for the Bengals (1-11, 0-3), who lost their sixth in a row. Andre Hatchett chipped in 11 points, and Chris Hansen had 10 points and four steals.

North Dakota never trailed and led 31-9 before the Bengals closed the first half on an 11-0 run. But Idaho State couldn’t close the gap after halftime.

North Dakota took a 2-1 lead in the all-time series; the teams met for the first time last season and split their two games.
