HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Alex Mitola knocked down three of Dartmouth’s 10 3-pointers — five of which came during a key, first-half run — as Dartmouth dominated Army 75-58 Tuesday night to snap a seven-game losing streak.

The Big Green’s Tyler Melville snapped a 20-all tie with a 3-pointer with 5:41 left in the first half, and Dartmouth hit four treys during a 17-8 run that put the Big Green up 37-28 at halftime.

Gabas Maldunas and John Golden paced Dartmouth with 13 points each, and Jvonte Brooks added nine points and 12 rebounds. Mitola added 11 points on 50-percent 3-point shooting.

Dartmouth shot 52.6 percent (10 of 19) from beyond the arc for its best performance of the year. The team has made 36.8 percent of its 3-point tries this season.

Ella Ellis led Army with 15 points, and moved into 13th on the Black Knights’ all-time scoring list with 1,297 points.
