Girls basketball: Washougal 49, Ridgefield 45

The Panthers erased a 14-point, fourth-quarter deficit and pulled out the victory at Ridgefield.

Haley Briggs led a balanced attack with nine points for Washougal. RaeAnn Allen and Savannah McDowell each scored eight.

Shannon Boyle led Ridgefield with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Jessica Shaffer and Riley Smetzler each had 10 points for the Spudders. Beatrice Bremer grabbed 10 rebounds.

Washougal outscored the Spudders 21-4 in the final quarter.
