Battle Ground — Newly elected state Rep. Liz Pike addressed constituents of the 18th Legislative District at two town hall meetings Jan. 5. She was joined by state Sen. Ann Rivers, also a Republican, in the morning at Battle Ground City Hall and later that afternoon at the Camas Public Library. Nearly 50 in Battle Ground and 100 in Camas participated in the discussions, which touched on the Columbia River Crossing project, as well as Pike’s proposal to allow trained teachers to carry guns at school.
