Washington State University Vancouver invites businesses in Southwest Washington and Portland to participate in its 2013 Career & Internship Fair set for Feb. 12-13 on the WSUV campus.

Christine Lundeen, WSUV career counselor, said she expects about 70 local employers to participate this year. About 400 students will attend the fair as part of their job search, she predicted.

The fair will run from 3 to 5:30 p.m. both days. The Feb. 12 event in the Firstenburg Student Commons will focus on general business. The following day, representatives of nonprofit, government and science (nonengineering) employers will be in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Employers in mechanical and electrical engineering and computer science will be in the Engineering and Computer Science building.

To register, visit WSUV. For more information, call Lundeen at 360-546-9224. WSUV is at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. Parking is free for exhibitors.
