MILWAUKEE (AP) — Ryan Broekhoff had 26 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots as Valparaiso defeated Milwaukee 76-52 Saturday.

Broekhoff hit 7 of 9 3-point attempts — and 9 of 13 shots overall — to help the Crusaders (13-5, 3-1 Horizon League) win their third straight game, and sixth in their last seven.

Kevin Van Wijk added 12 points, Matt Kenney had 11 and LaVonte Dority 10.

Milwaukee (4-13, 0-3) got 18 points from Paris Gulley, 14 from Demetrius Harris and 10 from Jordan Aaron.

Valparaiso took control from the outset, taking a 12-2 lead en route to a 33-20 halftime advantage. Eight straight points to start the second half stretched the lead to 21 points and put the game out of reach.
