Denver defeats Seattle 64-51

SEATTLE (AP) — Chase Hallam had 17 points, making five 3-pointers, and Denver beat Seattle 64-51 on Saturday for the Pioneers’ fifth straight win.

Denver (9-7, 5-1 WAC), which has won eight of its last 10, also got 15 points and six assists from Chris Udofia. Jalen Love scored 11 points and Royce O’Neale had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Pioneers, who hit 12 3-pointers in 27 tries, or 44 percent.

Clarence Trent scored 15 points to lead the Redhawks (5-10, 0-5), who have lost five in a row.

Denver never trailed in the game and led 43-29 at halftime. The Pioneers finished at 46 percent from the field. Seattle was at 47 percent, but 0 for 9 from 3-point range.
