Patriots host Newtown police officers at game

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots are honoring members of the Newtown, Conn., police department at Sunday’s playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Officers wearing Patriots jerseys with the No. 1 and “Newtown PD” on their backs lined up with the cheerleaders as the team ran onto the field before the game.
