COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Two-time U.S. figure skating champion Alissa Czisny has withdrawn from next week’s nationals after dislocating her left hip.

Czisny was injured Saturday while performing her free skate at the Fox Cities Invitational in Appleton, Wis. She was treated at a local hospital and will have further evaluation.

The 2009 and 2011 U.S. champion had surgery last June to repair a labral tear in her left hip.

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships begin Jan. 24 in Omaha, Neb.
