Camas has fun with games and beads at First Friday

Camas — Camas residents celebrated January’s First Friday with Boggle, Bunco and beads. The theme of the Jan. 3 Downtown Camas Association-sponsored event was “Game, Craft and Cocoa Night.” Thirteen businesses let visitors play games for bead prizes that could then be attached to a special bracelet from Bead Paradise. Journey Community Church served hot cocoa on the chilly evening. The monthly First Friday nights are meant to promote the downtown area. On Feb. 1, the theme will be “A Chocolate and Wine Affair,” with wine and chocolate tasting.
