Vancouver Public Schools Superintendent Steve Webb will lead a Jan. 25 patron tour of Discovery Middle School and Vancouver iTech Preparatory School at Washington State University Vancouver. The tour begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m.
The tour of Discovery will highlight the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program and Middle School Challenge/Honors classrooms.
The tour at iTech Prep will focus on students increasing proficiency in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects through project-and problem-based learning in a technologically rich learning environment.
