Eastern Illinois beats SE Missouri 78-72 in OT

CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) — Sherman Blanford made two free throws with 6 seconds left in regulation to tie the game, then hit the go-ahead basket in overtime to help Eastern Illinois defeat Southeast Missouri 78-72 Saturday night.

Blanford finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Panthers (6-16, 3-6 Ohio Valley).
