Clark College hosts free children’s dental day

Clark College is providing free dental care for low-income, uninsured children this weekend.

The Children’s Dental Health Day is open to Clark and Skamania County youth younger than age 19. The event is for families with limited income and no dental insurance.

The event is from 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Clark College Dental Hygiene Clinic, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. For an appointment, call 360-397-8020 or 360-397-8000, ext. 7371.

Provided services include X-rays, sealants, fluoride treatments, fillings and extractions.

The Clark County Dental Society is partnering with Clark College, Clark County Public Health, the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington and several other organizations to host the event.
