NYON, Switzerland (AP) — UEFA has fined Lazio $190,000 and threatened to make the Italian club play a European home match in an empty stadium after its fans’ racist behavior at Europa League matches against Tottenham and Maribor.

UEFA says the stadium sanction “has been suspended for a probationary period of two years.”

Lazio was found guilty of a range of offenses relating to the home match against Tottenham on Nov. 22 and the game in Slovenia against Maribor on Dec. 6.

UEFA also fined Tottenham $13,570 and Maribor $23,070 for crowd disturbances at the same matches.

The clubs can appeal all sanctions.
