Woodland police are searching for a woman who they say stole nine bottles of liquor from the Woodland Safeway on Jan. 20.

The woman put the bottles of alcohol in a large purse or diaper bag and then left without paying just before 5 p.m., police said. The merchandise is valued at $498.

Anyone with information about the theft or who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Woodland Police Officer Brent Murray at (360) 225-6965.
