WASHINGTON (AP) — Mike Muscala posted his 15th double-double of the season and hit the game-winning shot with .8 seconds left to power Bucknell to its 8th straight win over American University, 66-65 Wednesday night.

Muscala, who leads the nation in double-doubles and is the only Division-I player averaging over 18 points and 11 rebounds, finished with 16 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three blocks for Bucknell (18-4, 5-1 Patriot League).

Muscala had five offensive rebounds in the win, one of which came with 21 seconds remaining and the other with 2 seconds showing. The 6-foot-11 center turned both of those offensive boards into points to help Bucknell win its seventh game in nine tries. Both losses were by a combined five points.

Daniel Munoz had 13 for American (7-14, 2-4), which outshot Bucknell 47 percent (22 of 46) to 42 percent (22 of 52) but allowed 12 second-chance points.
