HOUSTON (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays have activated AL Cy Young winner David Price from the disabled list to start Tuesday night against the Houston Astros.

Price has missed 44 games with a left triceps strain in his first-ever stint on disabled list. The left-hander made two rehabilitation starts with Single-A Charlotte where he went 1-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 7 1-3 innings.

Infielder Ryan Roberts, who hit two home runs on Monday night, was optioned to Triple-A Durham to make room for Price on the roster.
