Woman’s body found on railroad tracks in Seattle

SEATTLE — The crew of a train spotted the body of a woman on railroad tracks about 5:15 a.m. Tuesday in south Seattle, near 5th Ave. South and South Spokane St.

Police spokesman Mark Jamieson says she apparently was not hit by a train. Homicide detectives are investigating.
