Foundation grant will help kids get artsy this summer

Esther Short — Gallery 360 in downtown Vancouver has won a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington for summer art class scholarships for kids. Photography, painting, creative writing and glassmaking are among the offerings for children ages 7 and older. Gallery 360, 111 W. Ninth St., is a nonprofit co-op operated by the Mosaic Arts Alliance. A limited number of scholarships are available; visit http://gallery360.org to learn more.
