Letter: Powerful agency must take lead

The Columbian
Published: July 4, 2013, 5:00pm

The late lamented Columbia River Crossing project had one important value for the community. It kept a lot of engineers and government policy wonks employed during a recession. When a future bridge project comes along, it would be better if one agency were selected, with one person in charge. They should follow the same course as when the Glenn Jackson Bridge was built.

And light rail should be moved to the Amtrak bridge west of the present I-5 Bridge.
