One person was injured Saturday afternoon when a pickup went off Lucia Falls Road near Northeast 215th Avenue near Yacolt.

Units from Fire District 3, Fire District 13 and North Country EMS were dispatched at 12:30 p.m. to initial reports that a vehicle had gone down a 70-foot ridge into a dry creek bed, according to a bulletin from Fire District 3.

Upon arrival, crews found that the truck was not that far off the road, although its sole occupant was injured and unable to climb out.

Crews rescued the occupant, who was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

The injured person’s name was not released. The accident is under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
