WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Wizards have added free agent Eric Maynor and re-signed Garrett Temple for backcourt depth behind John Wall and Bradley Beal.
Maynor played 64 games with Oklahoma City and Portland last season, averaging 4.5 points and 2.8 assists.
Signed originally by the Wizards on Christmas out of the NBA Developmental League, Temple averaged 5.1 points and 2.3 assists in 51 games last season, including 36 starts.
Temple spent time with five NBA teams before joining the Wizards. He signed a one-year deal for the veteran minimum, the 27-year-old’s first guaranteed contract.
