NEW YORK (AP) — A Basketball Without Borders camp will be held for the first time in Portugal, while also returning this summer to South Africa and Argentina.
The schedule for the camps, which feature instruction from NBA players and coaches, was announced Thursday by the NBA and FIBA.
The July 25-28 camp in Buenos Aires will include Argentine stars Manu Ginobili, Luis Scola, Pablo Prigioni and Carlos Delfino. The camp was first held there in 2005, a year after Argentina won the Olympic gold medal.
Carlos Boozer, Nate Robinson and Vladimir Radmanovic, who played for Chicago last season, will lead the Portugal camp Aug. 15-18 before the camp returns to South Africa for the 10th time from Aug. 29-Sept. 1. All-Star Kyrie Irving and the Bulls’ duo of Luol Deng and Joakim Noah will attend.
