PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Phillies center fielder Ben Revere broke his right foot on a foul ball before grounding into a game-ending double play in the opener of a day-night doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday night.

Revere fell to the ground after hitting the ball off his foot, but he shook it off and stayed in. He didn’t make it down the line too quickly to avoid making the last out of a 5-4 loss in 11 innings.

X-rays revealed the break, and Revere will see a specialist Monday.

Revere has a 10-game hitting streak and has raised his average from .200 on May 1 to .305
