Northwood neighborhood marks 20 years

Northwood — The Northwood Neighborhood Association has entered its third decade as an official neighborhood. The neighborhood was formally recognized by Vancouver in May 1993. Since then, volunteer leaders have served as liaisons between residents and the city. The neighborhood association will celebrate its 20th anniversary Aug. 6 during its National Night Out ice cream social event at Van Fleet Park, off North Andresen Road.
