Hazel Dell — Boys & Girls Club kids have spent the last few Wednesdays learning about gardening and outdoor life, all while lending a hand to improve the Hazel Dell School and Community Garden. The annual summer garden program began July 3 and continues through Aug. 7. Topics hit on this year include birds, bees and seeds. Children were also visited by experts from WSU Clark County Extension’s Watershed Stewards Program and the Audubon Society.
