OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Verrazano has been installed as a slight 9-5 favorite for the $1 million William Hill Haskell Invitational Sunday at Monmouth Park.

Monmouth oddsmaker Brad Thomas posted the lineup on Thursday, and Oxbow, winner of the Preakness who was second in the Belmont, is the 2-1 second choice.

Trainer Bob Baffert will go for an unprecedented seventh Haskell victory — and his fourth in a row — with Power Broker, the third betting choice at 3-1.

The Haskell is the jewel of the racing season at Monmouth, and a Jersey Shore tradition. Sunday’s race will be the 46th running.

The others entered in the mile-and-an-eighth race are: Golden Soul, 8-1; Micromanage, 6-1; Vyjack, 12-1; and Pick of the Litter, 15-1.
