An allegedly intoxicated motorcyclist was injured after a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening.

Cyrus H. Whitehead, 64, of Vancouver was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson north on Interstate 205 about 8:30 p.m. While taking the exit for westbound state Highway 500, he lost control and landed on the left side of the roadway, according to Washington State Patrol.

Whitehead was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center with injuries, where he was listed in satisfactory condition.

Troopers cited Whitehead for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
