Gradovich beats Munoz to keep IBF title

MACAU, China (AP) — Evgeny Gradovich retained his IBF featherweight title after defeating Argentina’s Mauricio Munoz by a unanimous decision on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Russian improved his record to 17-0.

On the same bill, Mexico’s Juan Francisco Estrada also made a successful defense of his WBO-WBA flyweight titles, defeating Milan Melindo by a unanimous decision.

Estrada handed Melindo his first defeat in 29 fights, knocking the Filipino down in the 11th round with a straight right hook.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming of China dominated teenager Jesus Ortega of Mexico to win his second professional fight by a unanimous decision.
