DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — California Chrome won the $100,000 Graduation Stakes for California-bred 2-year-olds by 234 lengths at Del Mar on Wednesday.
Ridden by Alberto Delgado, California Chrome ran 512 furlongs on the synthetic surface in 1:03.48 and paid $14.40, $7.40 and $5.
Filly Moving Desert returned $6.80 and $4.20, while Gangnam Guy was another half-length back in third and paid $3.80 to show.
California Chrome has two wins in four career starts and earned $57,000 for the victory.
