Letter: Retain Burkman’s contributions

The Columbian
Published: July 29, 2013, 5:00pm

Jack Burkman is a welcome and needed presence on the Vancouver City Council. He listens carefully as he researches positions and issues. He is open and transparent in his approach to government. He brings intelligence and real-world experience to every situation that comes up before the council.

Perhaps most importantly, Burkman has the temperament to bring his talents to bear in the often challenging setting of local government, where leaders like him are so badly needed. Please vote for Jack Burkman for Vancouver City Council position 1.
