CHICAGO (AP) — The Cubs placed right-handed reliever Rafael Dolis on the disabled list because of a strained right forearm, and brought up right-handed reliever Blake Parker from Triple-A Iowa on Saturday.

Dolis pitched five scoreless innings in five relief appearances in three stints with Chicago.

Parker is 0-1 with seven saves and a 2.04 ERA in 16 relief appearances this season with Iowa. He was available for the Cubs’ game Saturday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

To make room for Parker on the 40-man roster, right-handed reliever Alex Burnett was designated for assignment. Burnett, claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, pitched a scoreless inning for the Cubs on Wednesday before being optioned to Iowa on Thursday.
