DENVER (AP) — Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly was ejected for first time this season, getting tossed on Saturday in the sixth inning of a game against the Colorado Rockies.

Mattingly was ejected by first base umpire Brian Knight after plate umpire Gerry Davis ruled that Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke didn’t catch a low line drive hit by Yorvit Torrealba. Greinke threw out Torrealba at first and Nolan Arenado advanced to second.

Mattingly followed Knight back to his position at first base after he was ejected. Davis came over, and Mattingly left the field moments later.

The Dodgers held a 5-4 lead at the time of the ejection.
