Newsome wins Manhattan Island Marathon Swim

NEW YORK (AP) — Australia’s Paul Newsome won the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim on Saturday, finishing the 28.5-mile counter-clockwise route in 7 hours, 14 minutes, 53 seconds.

The NYC Swim-organized event is the longest annual swim race in the world.
