Portland police are investigating after two men were shot and wounded.

They say that at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday, a group of people flagged down officers downtown to report that their friend had been shot. Medical crews took him to a hospital with a gunshot to the abdomen. His injuries did not appear life-threatening, and police believe the shooting was gang-related.

About 15 minutes later, a different man arrived at Portland Adventist Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He was taken to another hospital by ambulance.

Police are looking into whether the shootings were related.
