Divadora wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Divadora pulled a 12-1 upset, winning by 614 lengths Wednesday in the $57,000 allowance feature for New York bred fillies and mares at Belmont Park.

The 4-year-old chestnut took charge entering the turn and steadily widened her advantage. Jose Lezcano was aboard for trainer James Lawrence II as the Divadora easily captured her season debut, improving to 2 for 8. The time was 1:09.41 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Divadora paid $27.20, $14.20 and $7.30. White Crane, a 9-1 long shot, rallied for second, returning $9.20 and $5.20. Make the Moment paid $4.80 to show.
