NEW YORK (AP) — Profetiza rolled to a front-running victory on Friday, beating Malibu Holiday by four lengths in the $77,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
Jose Lezcano, who had four wins on the card, was aboard the chestnut 3-year-old for trainer Bill Mott. Profetiza, the 4-5 favorite, paid $3.90, $3.10 and $2.40 for her second win in three starts. The time was 1:36.63 for the mile.
Malibu Holiday returned $3.90 and $2.80 while Lady Kierkegaard paid $2.50 to show.
