ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Hawks have acquired Mike Muscala after the 7-foot center from Bucknell was taken with the 44th pick in the NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks.

The Hawks also ended up with the No. 16 pick, Brazilian center Lucas Nogueira, in a deal that sent Miami point guard Shane Larkin to the Mavericks on Thursday night. The Hawks took the son of Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin with the 18th pick.

The 7-foot Muscala averaged 18.7 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game, leading the Patriot League in all three categories. Bucknell won a school-record 28 games and was a No. 11 seed in the NCAA tournament.
