KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Sporting Kansas City recalled forward Dom Dwyer from his loan to USL PRO affiliate Orlando City Soccer Club on Thursday after a productive first half of the season.

Dwyer will be available for Saturday’s game against the Columbus Crew.

The 22-year-old scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Lions, including a record 15 in 13 league games. He scored three goals in Orlando City’s surprising run to the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals and recently scored in a friendly against Brazilian champion Fluminense FC.

Dwyer was Sporting KC’s first-round pick in last year’s SuperDraft and appeared in two MLS games as a rookie. He was among four players loaned to Orlando City in March, and together they’ve helped the first-place Lions to a 10-1-2 record midway throughout the season.
