Grass fire along state Highway 14

Units summoned to control traffic

Vancouver Fire Department crews extinguished a grass fire Sunday afternoon along state Highway 14, just east of Ellsworth Road.

According to initial reports at about 4 p.m., the blaze — in the 11000 block — was about 25 yards long. Supporting police and State Patrol units were dispatched to control traffic.
